CVE-2026-84218
Safety vulnerability ID: SFTY-20260901-53693
Affected versions of the `org.jolokia:jolokia-core` package are vulnerable to an Incomplete List of Disallowed Inputs because the denylist added to mitigate CVE-2018-1000130 rejects only URLs matching `service:jmx:rmi:///jndi/ldap:.*`. The JSR-160 proxy takes a `target.url` from the request and passes it to `JMXServiceURL` and `JMXConnectorFactory`, and several other valid spellings of the same destination are not matched, such as an `ldaps://` scheme or an LDAP URL with a non-empty JMX host component. An attacker who can POST to the proxy can make the agent's JVM open a JNDI connection to a directory they control, potentially leading to remote code execution similar to the original vulnerability.
